Since launching Fusebox 2.0 back in 2021, we’ve watched thousands of new podcasters choose Fusebox over other podcast hosts to help launch their podcasts. When we ask our new customers why they picked Fusebox, the responses tend to center around how easy we make starting a new podcast.
However, during the same period of new customer growth, we’ve seen many existing customers choose to stay with the same, older version of Fusebox instead of upgrading to all of the amazingness our new customers have.
….and we think we know why. 💡
For the longest time, we couldn’t figure out why Fusebox 1.0 customers would choose to remain on a platform that no longer receives feature updates, has an older player design, and is tethered exclusively to WordPress. Surely, the fact that Fusebox 2.0 was fully re-designed, has greater platform compatibility, and offers free podcast hosting would be enough to entice customers to upgrade?
Then we realized….it wasn’t a lack of features holding customers back. Rather, it was that our upgrade process was too complicated and required a lot of manual input—ultimately, leaving customers with a feeling that upgrading to the new Fusebox wasn’t worth the hassle. After all, who has the time and patience to manually replace the players on a website for every episode?!
Fortunately, we know precisely how to help our existing, Fusebox 1.0 customers! In this article, we’ll cover how to upgrade to the NEW Fusebox, including the steps required to:
- Upgrade your existing subscription.
- Update ALL your existing Fusebox players.
- and effortlessly host your podcast with Fusebox at no extra cost!
